The milk bag format is already simple and minimalist. But is it possible to reduce its environmental footprint further and ensure that the packaging keeps the product just as well and is easy for consumers to use? Agropur and its supplier HOOD joined forces to take up the challenge.
To arrive at the best possible solution, tests were carried out over a nine-month period in several Agropur plants. As a result, the thickness of the milk bag was reduced by 0.25 millimetres—a tiny change that does not impact consumers but makes a huge difference for the environment considering the number of milk bags sold each year!
